Gallagher
2019 Summer Internship
Gallagher was a great hands-on experience with safety. Serving out of the Omaha office, I had the opportunity to learn safety in a variety of industries including dairies, hog farms, feedlots, and construction safety. I have gained increased attention to detail and OSHA understanding.
At the end of the internship, I was tasked with presenting the impacts I made in the company. You can view my presentation in the bottom video.
The various ways I made an impact with Gallagher was through creating a slips, trips, falls safety video, posted above, a 'Shock Talk' newletter, and a lock out/ tag out poster. As I went on client visits, I also had the opportunity to do safety walkthroughs and create safety reports from that. Check out my work with Gallagher!

2018 Summer Internship
Gavilon was a great experience and created a wonderful opportunity for me to serve as the marketing and communications intern while there. I was provided with real-world experience and created projects that included my passion for farm and workplace safety. Safety posters, grain entrapment flyers, and safety training videos were just a few of the things I did while there.

Worked vigorously to publish articles in a timely manner to meet deadlines. Consistently wrote front page articles and designed several pages on time. Published several stories online and in print. My job included being a reporter, photographer, videographer, page designer and interviewer.

AGJA Nationals 2017

Each year, I have the opportunity to attend a national cattle show classic. This has given me the experience to put my cattle knowledge and communications skills to the test. I have been able to use my experience with cattle and combine them with other skills to participate in various contests held throughout the week-long show. Some contests include sales talk, impromptu speaking, and photography.
